Do a Google search, there is a LOT of interest in Fieros out there. There
are at least a couple of clubs.

Fieros seem to be similar to SHOs in certain ways as you describe. The POS
cars, and the very nice ones. There are some in between that can be bought
reasonably, though.

An '88 GT with a 5-speed, leather interior, and t-tops is about the rarest
and most desirable combo. Handling on the '88s is very good. One of these
days when I get mine back on the road, I've considered setting it up for
auto-x or track work.

I have been half-heartedly looking for a MTX V-6 Fiero for the last couple
of years. Never have found one that wasn't an expensive show room new or a
POS.

Don't they have a club?  And maybe a list like ours?

As a toy I think that a modded V-6 MTX could be a lot of fun!
