Boy, that sounds familiar.....

The 428 CJ was created from off-the-shelf parts. FWIW, it is NOT the 428
that Kerby is referring to below. The regular 428 is a low-end-torque motor
for heavy sedans, and is a pug for hipo uses. The 428 CJ is another matter.

I vaguely remember an article I read years ago about how the 428CJ came
about.
 I believe it had something to do with Tasca Ford in Providence, RI.  Does
anyone know that story?
