Michael,
Did you reset the computer after installing the y-pipe? Did you swap the O2
sensors from front bank to back bank, even accidentally? (Or left and right
banks for Jim! :)
I suspect the O2's changed the way they perform and the computer is compensating
for the way they ran before the new y-pipe. I would first try resetting the
computer - follow the procedure on the FAQ (www.shotimes.com) and see if that
makes a difference. As good routine maintenance, the O2's should be changed at
60k intervals, so new ones wouldn't hurt either, depending on your mileage.
Let us know what happens, as many people roll thru shotimes with problems and
we never hear about the resolution.
