I don't know what the actual numbers are, but I carried over 750 pounds of cargo and
people across the country this year to Frederick with two year old NAPA rear
springs, and it sat just fine (down about an inch). It definitely rubbed over bumps
at speed, but that's a lot of inertia for the struts to hold still. Any original
Ford spring, even holding a good ride height when empty, would not carry that load.

I had most all of my tools, a hydraulic jack, 2 jackstands, a wash and polish milk
carton, 4 bags of luggage, and two folks..one of them WAY overweight. (Just look at
me in the balance article in the SHO Club magazine. Pretty heavy!! )

I was originally complaining about the rubbing, until I weighed everything when we
got home. Also, I had a spacer in one of the rear wheels for back when I had
Michelins, which I don't need for the Potenzas, and that put the outer sidewall of
that tire into the cladding too far. It's out now, and the rubbing is gone.
