[Shotimes] eBay scam?

Reminds me of the guy who sold a Playstation 2 BOX for $600+ on eBay when
the PS2's first came out.

Stated in the auction that it was the BOX, not the PS2.

This could be an attempt to scam money from the sales of plugs. It doesn't
mention the wires at all, just shows a picture of the wires with plugs.

People don't read clearly, and see wires, and think "Oh, wires for
cheap!!" - then get jacked. Meanwhile, the seller legally didn't scam
someone - he never said anything about plug wires.
