A crossbred engine is all the SHO has going for it? Did any Merkur
practically save Ford? Did they come with motors that were a departure from
Ford design? Did they offer what cars twice as expensive couldn't muster? I
don't see a small Euro-style body mated with a standard 2.3L Turbo as being
as unique and interesting as the SHO.
