Ah......not true.  I said I could take or leave the rod shifter, which means that any Gen
2 stick would be accepted, but not preferred.  I also said (or implied, I guess) that
there would be no automatics around at all with that short dismisal of Gen 3s, when I
referred to the '96 demo I drove.  ( I didn't say that, but it WAS a demo.)
