Around my area there is very little difference in the brand of gas. There
are two pipelines in the area and they only have about 10 tanks at the
terminals. 99% of the gas in the immediate East Central Illinois are I live
in comes from these two terminals. All but one station has a 10% ethanol
blend in all their grades. Casey's is the only station to publicly claim No
Alcohol on there 87 octane grade.

I live a couple of miles from one of the terminals. You will see every
different station's trucks there. Most gas though is delivered by one
private hauler. I use to get Shell as I though it didn't have the alky in
it. One day I caught a whiff of the brew and asked the delivery driver
where he got the gas. He said at the local pipeline terminal :(.

I use heating oil for my furnace. They don't even carry that any more but
instead give you diesel fuel, which is cleaner any way. There use to be two
grades of this but now only the No.1 is available. But if you tell them you
want No. 2 they will sell you the No 1 at a .20 discount.

> man that's weird,, i've never checked my 95 mtx on the highway, but around
town i'm getting 24 to 25 (depending on my mood) with the a/c off,, my 94
atx got almost 27 on the highway, but nothing like that around town,, maybe
you should check the gas you're getting,, this is weird but i'd swear my mtx
lasts longer on gas from amoco and chevron than other places,, looking at my
mileage it seems i get a mile or two better with them,, i know that's not
much but it's a start
