The turning signal assembly would not place any useable driving light
anywhere, and you would fail in any state that requires annual vehicle
inspection, or sale inspection.

Phillips has the 9007 unit out now. Why don't you get that? There was even
one listed on the page you linked to.

Another option would be the Xenarc HID driving lamps, also on the page you
linked to. Decent price on them.
