[Shotimes] Gen3 seats in a Gen1?

Here is the link to Randy Mercante's site. There are multiple pictures of
the virtually new '98 SHO front seats that he put into his '91. The rear
seat (also a pic there) is still the '91 seat. Would be a lot of work to fit
a Gen 3 rear seat into a Gen 1/2 (although the fold-down feature would be
great!):

What the consensus on fitting Gen3 seats into a Gen1?  IIRC the floorpan is
the same, no?

What about the rear seats?

Anyone who owns a Gen3 and also owns a Gen1 or Gen2, can you assist?
