It's an SHO; anything goes..

I was sitting next to a Gen1 Taurus GL at a light today..I was wondering
if he's had half the issues with his car that I have had with mine..

I am my worst mechanic. :-/

The other day one of the lights behind the speedometer blew. At least I
think it's that... now the 60, 70 , and 80 mph range is dimmer than the
rest of the dash. Is it common for those lights to die? I only have
83K on the odometer and that seems kinda ridiculous for one to blow out
so soon! Does that mean you have to open everything up and remove the
needles and everything? Might as well wait then till I put my white
faced gauges in...gotta buy them first though ;)
