Could very well have been replaced at some point. Or Ford used different
suppliers and your car was built on the "metal" day.

Recent talk about sway bar endlinks (might have been on techsho)
brings a question to my mind.  On my green car, the front end links
were the new style plastic ones.  On this car, they are not.  What
was the point when the new style went into production vehicles?
I just think it's odd that the change would have been in the middle
of the '95 model year.
