I picked up one of those kits for a buck at a parts store, it was brought
back by a customer that didn't want it. So I figure what do I have to lose
for a buck.
It says to put it onto the heater hose, but I looked at the hose that runs
from the thermostat housing to the oil/water cooler. Would this be a good
place to put thier little plastic attachment to hook up a garden hose. I
would think that putting it into the heater hose would be ideal, but it
looks to me that I'd have the intake blocking the way for future flushes,
cause you hook the garden hose to the plastic thing.
Would putting the attachment into that line for the oil/water thing still
flush the heater core? Being that it is behind the thermostat, I would
think it would. Anyone have any experience with this little kit?
