[Shotimes] Cold winter; a little cheer

Hey, I'm just happy to get my power back tonight. It's been out since Friday
morning! In addition to the ice storm that hit the Detroit area on Friday,
another 5-6" of snow fell on top of that ice this morning. There was a
freezing rain/sleet earlier this evening on top of all the other stuff.
Still hoping that power stays on!!

Then it's supposed to be in the 60s this weekend! Gotta love the Midwest!!

I see the NE is having some good skiing weather (watching the news the cars
are the ones doing the skiing), but I wanted to mention that we in SoCal
know
what bad weather is, too.  Its having a hard time getting over 80 deg. and
goes all the way down to the mid 50s at night.  At least the sun is shining;
but spring is a little late this year.  My plumerias are having a hard time
blooming.  Chin up, guys.  In 76 days the days will start getting shorter
again.
