Despite the horrors of war, at least there was a bit of comic relief coming from Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, the Iraqi Minister of Information. Examples:
Images of the US forces taking Baghdad International Airport being called a "Hollywood trick."
Regarding reports that we have taken the Ministry of Information: "That is absolutely not true. I am here at the Ministry of Information."
His statements that US forces are "committing suicide at the walls of Baghdad".
His statement that Bush and Rumsfield "deserve to be hit with shoes."
This guy should have his own sitcom.
