[Shotimes] "Door Ajar" light (reprise)

My first question is are all the interior lights on when the "door ajar"
light is on? If so there are small contacts on each door in the forward
part of the door that become pushed closed when you close the door. One of
these may not be making contact. My Mustang had body work done and this was
never repaired correctly so I have it "rigged". Check all four contact and
replace as necessary. Those should be the only thing to cause that light to
come on.

So I sprayed the beejeezus out of my door latch mechanisms in an
attempt to unstick whatever is stuck and get the "door ajar" light
to go off to no avail. I guess I'm going to have to remove the door
panels one by one and check them out from the inside. There has
to be some kind of a switch in there that might have gone bad.

Meanwhile, the inside of the car stinks to high heaven like Liquid
Wrench. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.
