The other thing to consider is the age of the wires, not just the mileage. While mine "only" lasted about 100k miles, that was just last year. So they made it nine years. The wires on my '90 made it only 80k miles or so, but 11 years. The OEM wires would probably be fine for 200k miles if they were driven in a five year period. Dave
