[Shotimes] (OT) my dad's cancer scare seems done

A few months back, I posted about my dad having prostate cancer.  I'm happy
to tell you that he seems to have come through it.  He's had weeks of
radiation, followed by radioactive pellets inserted into the gland, and some
prescriptions and shots.  His PSA (prostate-specific antigen) level, which
was how they originally detected it, is back to a very safe level.  He's
exhausted a lot, so I've been making trips to help mom and dad keep up with
chores.  But the cancer scare is over.  Heartfelt thanks to everyone who
wrote in with all kinds of support and prayer.  This is a great community.
