At this point, is there a possibility of extending it a little to have a
little more room behind the front seats? Not enough for rear seats, but
maybe enough room for a couple of golf bags. That may help the "too short"
look. The issue seems to be that the SHO really has a fair amount of
overhang in the front and rear, which exaggerates the shortness of the
wheelbase.

Nonetheless, it will look interesting! I suspect that you may have a fair
amount of suspension and brake tuning ahead of you to make it drivable.

We made the big cut this week, check it out:

http://www.alfitz.com/sho/roadster.htm

I have a 3.2 with 3.0 intake cams almost ready to go in.

I know, it's very short., but certainly different.

How about a pool???? The closest guess to the finished weight of this
project
will get a FREE pair of YAMAHA emblms.

Do you think I'll need a wheelie bar to prevent wheelies in reverse?
