[Shotimes] Brake-Tru resurfacer?

Is this a bunch of crap? It seems to be a sound theory but at around $27 for
a one time kit that works for the front wheels only it seems to suggest
"snake oil". I was always told that phonographing of the brake discs was bad
and that seems to be a key feature of this product. Then again, they say
that it increases brake area (technically it would) by grooving the rotor.

Any thoughts? Anyone used this before?
