[Shotimes] motor sitting/weak valves

I am doing a 3.2 conversion for a customer and found a 70k 3.2 motor from a reliable salvage yard.

This motor has been sitting for about 3 years and my expierence with motors like this is that the valve spring that is fully compressed can get fatigued and weak .. creating a light intermintient tap.

My question is does anyone have any ideal the max time frame that a motor could sit ( +/- ) before this event would happen ???

I always prefer to buy a motor that has been recently running but cant find any low milage 3.2's but this one.
