The dealers hated them because they couldn't sell them.  If they could sell
them, they didn't make any money on them.

The service departments hated them because none of the techs knew how to
work on the motors.  So the service departments always took a hit on their
labor costs as well.

The SHO was a loose-loose proposition for Ford.  Sad, but true.
