I suspect they intentionally left out a reference to the Falcon Futuras, as
they would rather reference a bigger luxury car than their economy model at
the time.

I'll bet the old Falcon Futura has more interior space than the new model,
though!!  And yeah, those old Falcons were pretty nice. There's always a few
at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

That article had a mistake in it.  They never mentioned the
Ford Falcon Futura made in the US in the early 60's.  They
talked about a Lincoln dream car and the aussie versions,
but not the highly regarded Falcon's.

Don't laugh.  The Falcon was a decent small car and the
Futura was a miniature Galaxie 500 XL with great looks and
style for the time.  Good examples are highly sought after
in the collector market.
