[Shotimes] (OT) CTS-V in Detroit Free Press

I hear ya.....

I have been having a private series of messages with another SHO lister.
Basically, my choices right now for my next daily driver are a WRX wagon and
a used 540i 6-speed. Although both are the same cost, the WRX wagon is the
top contender at this point (FWIW, I think it looks better than the sedan).

An older SHO is on the radar screen as a play car, but my options are all
over the map, even though I am still a Ford fan.......if they had a decent
sport sedan tat could compete.

And, if the company takes off in a year or two......a new M5!!

I mentioned this to Kurt offline, but I'll throw it out here as well. I
don't believe the current car enthusiast is as narrow minded as they used to
be. Look at all the car nuts that are driving Subaru's now, of all things!

There were a lot of die hard Ford fans that jumped to GM in the mid to late
'90s, when the last gen F-body was kicking the Mustang's ass.

I think if they brought back a fast as hell Yugo that was priced right,
people would jump all over it.
