[Shotimes] Brake Bleeding w/ ABS?

I was poking around on SHOforum for advice on the correct order to bleed the 
brakes and came across a thread that mentioned that a special Ford gizmo may 
be necessary to properly flush the ABS system.

One guy suggested that to completely flush the system, first flush the 
system once, actuate the ABS system with several hard stops on a gravel 
surface, then flushing the brakes again.. Is there any reason to do this?? 
Could old fluid be trapped within the ABS actuating system that doesn't get 
flushed otherwise?
