[Shotimes] (OT) CTS-V in Detroit Free Press

I've told this story before, but right after buying my new '99 SHO, I headed
down to Louisville for a wedding. Two good friends of mine have nearly
identical '89 535is down there. One of them traded with me for the drive
from the service to the reception. Dave's car had around 160K on it at that
time, and I had not driven it in 3-4 years. He has owned it since '91, and
does maintain it properly. Even in that short drive, the "feel", the
tightness, the whole experience was of a car that was tighter and more
"together" than my brand new SHO.

FWIW, BMW's have a much better overall feel and quality interior than
anything Detroit can muster. Considering my wife's 89 325i was BMW's
"economy"/entry level car, it is MUCH better than the SHO, and comes very
close to the 92-94 750iL's we have been looking at as a replacement for her
(we are expecting a third child and need more room, and NASA's Spec E30
series looks mighty cool!)
