[Shotimes] (OT) CTS-V in Detroit Free Press

I guess I see the WRX - Miata thing as a real apples-to-oranges decision. If
the AWA wants a Miata, I guess that decision has been made!! Since the Miata
would be a summer-type vehicle (I'm guessing), why not go used? Personally,
I like the older Miata styling, rather than the new one that came out in the
last year or two.
Used WRXs are in the $16-20K range. Yeah, not a lot of space, but (1) enough
in the front seat for me, and (2) enough in the rear for me to easily fit,
which means I can carry 4 adults if need be. I liked the wagon for the
bodystyle, plus it has a bit more flexibility for carrying stuff. The new
'04 WRX will have a moonroof available (I like having one, and doesn't have
the big driving lights like the earlier models (looks better, IMHO). Here's
a shot of the new front-end:

I'm somewhat in the same opinion as Ron P.
Although, I don't see a spike in my income for a while, so I see another
'94-5MTX SHO in the next year or so.
A WRX would be better, but only after the AWA gets her Miata. Not sure if
we should get a good used one or a new Miata. Any hints on that would be
appreciated. I drove a WRX while back, but was not overly impressed with;
useable interior and truck room, dull handling and personality, and in
general ugly looks... In all a typical Japanese car with a fair amount more
power.
If I do have somekind of a spike in the income, I would get an Audi S6
Avant, over and above the M5.
Bet that Neuspeed has parts on the shelf that would let this puppy get
450-500 hp to the wheels! All 4 of them!
