Pontiac had the GXP at the Detroit show, and the info said that it was going
to have a 4.4 V8 in it. Supposed to be Northstar-based, and have near 300
HP.

Now, how is it that the GXP will have a Northstar engine, but the (supposed)
BMW-fighter CTS-V, which will probably cost $20-25K more than the GXP, will
have a Chevy OHV V8? Sorry, GM still is a few cards short of a full deck!!

Seems that GM is offering a supercharged
3800 in just about anything they can fit it into. Monte, GTP, Bonneville
GXP, I think I saw some sport utes with it too.
