[Shotimes] Interesting Rear Brake Upgrade

Hmm... replying to my own messages. I wonder if you'd be able to find a
fixed caliper anywhere that would not have either a separate parking
brake caliper or a drum parking brake. Fixed caliper means it doesn't
move, and uses just hydraulic pressure for braking. The parking brake
cable is mechanical and pulls the floating caliper against the rotor
with mechanical force instead of hydraulic. So I doubt a fixed caliper
will have a spot for a p-brake cable.

Don't know about the 350, but the 300 rear brakes have a drum parking
brake. This is a very common mod on the 240sx since the brakes bolt
right on. This is also better for use on cars that are "put away wet".
You don't have to worry about warping the brakes since the caliper isn't
clamping a certain part of the disk while it cools.

Well...I was considering finding the fixed 2 piston rear calipers from
the 300ZX or the 350Z. If they have a parking brake cable provision,
they would be an excellent candidate for a rear brake upgrade. (and no
more stuck slider pins!!!)
