[Shotimes] OT/waaaay OT anyone here an insurance adjuster? or have this problem?

I personally don't see the need for a lawyer quite yet. While they can do
some wonderful things, I'd go alone 1st. The problem with a lawyer is that
they will take 1/3rd of the money. Let's say you end up with what is fair
for the car, $7500. You will only get $5000. Would that of beat what you can
do by yourself?

I'd use up all other avenues 1st.
