'96 upgrade (calipers, rotors, knuckles, caliper brackets) $250
www.alfitz.com
H-brace $59 www.prosuspension.com
subframe connectors $89 (not installed yet) www.prosuspension.com
GTP control arms $200 (+/-) www.gmpartsdirect.com
bushing kit for above $44.29 www.shonutperformance.com
front end components (nuts, bolts, LCA, strut mount, bearing, front wheel
bearings, tension strut and bearings, Ford '96 brake pads, front ABS sensor)
$606.61 www.fordpartsnetwork.com
rear end nuts and bolts $35 http://www.greensalescompany.com
Hmmmm.... looks like $1283.90 plus my labor. I still need to have Ford bleed
the ABS controller ($75 or so) and Performance-Plus do an alignment and weld
in the subframe connectors ($200 ?) so I'll be at $1600 or so. Wow! I can
only imagine what the labor would of cost me!
I was anal about the hardware. If I took a nut or bolt off, I put on new
ones. I figured 10 years and 172,000 miles is enough time.
Oh. www.midwestsho.com installed the '96 upgrade and the strut mounts and
bearings.
