You were actually able to turn the whole engine by just turning the
alternator...!!!???  You are sure you weren't just slipping the belt against the
alternator pulley??!!  ARE YOU SURE!!!??

LOL!!  I can't resist jabbing the list (not you!) a little bit.  There was a LOT of
doubt when I mentioned I did that a year or so ago to see if an engine was intact
internally or not.

I got pretty huffy about it at the time.....!!    ;-)
