OK. Cheater.
Any person I would beat in G stock would be cheated out of their moment of
glory.
I would know that I was breaking the rules.
I run Solo II for my personal enjoyment, not to have my names in lights.
While I want to do as well as I can, I won't lie about it.
To each his own.

I guess you could call me a cheater, but there's no way that I would 'fess
up to brake plugs and get moved a class!! Frankly, I don't see the plugs
doing anything for an autocross, anyway. The courses aren't usually long
enough to get the brakes hot enough for the fronts to get overworked.
Besides, are there any G Stock SHOs running that don't have EH runners and
other tricks? Is there anyone else running G Stock (or any other
stock/production class) that isn't "bending" the rules a bit? I guess if the
SHO was a competitive car in it's class, being closer to stock would be a
better idea if you are chasing records, but since the SHO has just about
always been getting it's ass kicked in G production anyway, I guess a little
"rules bending" to hold off total humiliation isn't too bad!!

Here's a quick and dirty classifier. You, my friend, are definitely in SM
which means you can add a supercharger or turbo to your car as well and not
switch classes.

Last year I was STX (high flow cat, 26 mm rear sway bar, etc....) and was in
a class with slightly modded WRX's and consistently came in last. Since I
added the bias plugs, I am now in SM and expect to be in last place again.
