Friday, drove to Dairy Queen, got in my SHO to go back to work, and no start. Lights and other power accessories were fine, but no click, nothing - the "start" key position did put out all the lights on the dash like normal, though. Thank goodness I have an MTX, so we could bump start it. Got back to work, it restarted twice no problem. Sunday, it quit for good. Connections were all tight, but redid them anyway, to no avail. Took it off and O'Reilly's found it to be bad this morning; new one with lifetime warranty for $106, might be high, but next time it will be free, and I plan to keep the car for my lifetime. What I didn't do first was check the clutch safety switch, or the voltage on the starter leads before pulling it off. But it appears that I barked up the right tree to start with.
