I've always been a fan of the tires from the major manufacturers.  I have 
felt the same way about Nitto, Sumito, and maybe a few others as you feel 
about Hankook.  Maybe I'm just behind the times.  My wife thought I was 
crazy when I told her I was buying Yokohama tires for my 97 SHO, since she 
had never heard of them.
