So, they hook you, reel you in, and don't let go.  Nice!

I didn't do the Auto-RX treatment for the oil usage so much.  My '93
only uses/loses about 0.75 quarts every oil change.  The couple of drops
I lose out the rear main aren't that big a deal.  I really used it in
case its other claims were true: increases fuel mileage, clean heads,
clean oil passages, etc.

I haven't driven enough miles yet to see if it makes a difference in gas
mileage.  I've been very steady over the years with mileage, so I will
notice if there's any change at all.

I'm also close to being due for a 60k service, so I'll get to pull the
valve covers off and see (hopefully) a much cleaner set of heads than
the last time (which was only about a year ago).  I've got pictures so I
can create my very own before and after!

My experience with the Auto-RX on my weary '93 was good.  But I quit
using it.  It originally cut my oil usage from 600 miles to a quart to
1300 miles to the quart.  But you have to use it in the maintenance
doses to keep the oil usage down.  Without it I am back to one quart
every 800 miles currently.  Almost all through the valve guides.

I would advise to use it and then go to a high mileage oil or to keep
using the Auto-RX it it's maintenance dosage as the manufacturer
recommends.
