Don

I REALLY REALLY hated those CTS caddy's for quite some time now. However, did I ever tell you guys
the story about the glory in owning a RWD Caddy?! Ooh boy, this was at least 2 months ago I'd say
up north in WI at Da Grove. I was innocently waiting for my buddies 514cubed '92 Stang to make his
first pass on a bigger then ever pill. About 2 or 3 cars ahead in his lane stood a brand new black
CTS. Beside it was a flashy turbo'd Fox Stang. So these guys line up and do their prestages, but
something was wrong with the picture... The CTS had drag radials up in some serious smoke.. I
figured, ahh that was just the wind blowing it across the prestages... Well a really long story
short, not only did that CTS hand the Stang it's arse, it did it with a very loud BOV going off
and a 11.64 gracefully lighting the 1/4 stretch!! Now, don't get me wrong, my '89 Sedan DeVille is
a 4.5L powered muscle freakazoid, but even I had to take my hat off to that! It wasn't no 18
second (or slower) run, but it sure did look sexy goin' down that track! :) The scariest part was
the dudes celebrating the win were like 40 year old jolly men that looked so lost and innocent
over in the corner of the left lane.. What's next? A blown, tubbed, RWD SHO with a 500 shot?!?!
Heh... And for some odd reason (lemme think...) I suddenly am in love with the CTS as well...
Thanks Mr. FreakCTS!

Neno... I am TOTALLY SERIOUS TOO! CRRRAZZY!
