well I was running between 2nd & 3rd alot, that is till Ron rode with me and
told me where I cshould be driving. He had me leave it in 3rd all the way
around the track which I think kept me in the good RPM range, but it felt
wierd not shifting. I was using 2nd thru the 3d/4/5 turns. I found that for
my car with the ES100's I could run that pretty hard and not have to brake
as much, just a little lift of the go pedal on the 3D to 4 turn with some
slight braking on the way in, but then the car was up high 5000rpm ish when
I mashed back down. When I went with ron the car was down round 3500ish in
that same section, but I was braking smarter, and not driving like the
"sunday driver" in the middle of the course. I was sure that we were getting
around the track faster. At that time my car didn't feel like it had much
till the secondaries open, but now it feels like I have better HP and TQ
(even on a 3.0) from about 2500 up. The porting i think has helped a little
down low, as well as cleaning some gunk outta my airbox, and cleaning the
MAF.

I'm looking forward to the next track type of event that I can get to. Hmm
reminds me that I should rotate my tires, it's almost been 3500 miles since
I put them on.
