Guess it depends on how "worn out". If they are "trashed" worn-out like mine
were, it probably explains why someone snipped the wire to the oil pressure
sensor! Unless that was a "feature" on green cars!!

Several of us have changed worn out rod bearings and seen no difference in
oil pressure.
