i think i know what smell your talking about,  not quite an "old car" smell,   but a leatherery odor... very light...   almost lexol-ish in aroma with a slight twang of burning oil in the plug wells ;)
 
seriously though,   she looks at me like i have 10 heads,  when i start looking around and spot one,   most of the time i can guess the model year from the trim [gen II]  or be somewhat close on years of the gen I
 
im trying to get her to drive my SHO at least once,  and she refuses... saying "i dont wanna get hooked on anything"  as if the SHO was a doobie or something...
