[Shotimes] Water Pump for '95 SHO

Hey SHOtimers,
My 73K mile '95 5-spd is now at the shop for some preventive maintenance
including replacing the water pump for a small coolant leak problem. 
The FORD part came in but the tech says the existing pulley cannot be
bolted to the pump rotor flange - the holes don't line up.  He had the
Ford national parts desk confirm the part number (F0DZ 850 1A) and they
said "yeah, that's the right number".  They went ahead and ordered
another one on the thought that perhaps the wrong pump got stuffed in
the right box or perhaps the wrong flange was pressed on the pump.

The pump housing bolts up ok to the motor, just can't bolt the existing
pulley to it.  Anybody able to confirm the part number for the water
pump on a '95 (build date 1/95) or if the pulley was changed in mid
year?  Or is this just a parts screw-up on the contents of the box?
