Blackhawk was so fun I'd make a trip up from GA to run there in the future.
I have no complaints, I had a blast there. Any missed track time can be
blamed on me as I ended my day short by tearing up my front tires!
(awaiting 2 more track tires/wheels so I can carry a spare pair to the track
now).
Last track event I did I was chatting with 2 guys who were running a '93
Cobra R replica. They did an event a few years back at Lowe's motor
speedway. Only brought 4 tires (was a 3 day event) and ran over a metal
stud on day 1 and poked a hole in the tire. Nothing local had a hoosier
race tire in stock. Guy said they sat around the hotel that night bummed
till they said screw it and went to wal-mart for a $3 plug kit. Finshed out
next 2 days of the track event sailing off into turn 1 @ 140 mph with a plug
in the LR tire! <g>
