Exactly.

You can get the same "effect" with a good TPS and setting the idle voltage
to just under 1 volt.  You'll approach 4 volt at the EEC (for WOT tables)
quicker and your real world throttle "tip in" tends to be a little crisper.

I don't think you'll see any WOT gains doing either.  As long as you are
getting over 4 volt max it won't matter.

It's interesting to log the TPS volt on the datalogger and watch it with
respect to the other engine/sensor data.
