If your not running at the track and you are looking for a good performing
everyday driver street tire, I would go with a Bridgestone Potenza RE950 or a
decent Yokahoma, I personally had very good all weather results and the best
mileage from a Futura tire purchased at Pep Boys for $75 ea....... but that's
just me. I have been told I don't driver my car hard enough to know the
difference, so my opinion may be useless.
I basically recommend anything but GoodYear.......

Go back to the Dunlops. Maybe they ain't the best but at Tire Rack they're
under $100. Do a life cycle cost analysis and unless you're doing more than
street execises they're your best value.

Ok, it's that time for me to start thinking about a new set of tires for
my '97. The current set of Dunlop SP5000's are gettin' pretty evil to drive
in the rain. Being not really happy with how the 5000's wore, I'm not getting
into another set of them. I think I"m pretty much torn between Bridgestone
RE750's or BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW.... Any other suggestions out there
that won't break the bank (read: under $130/ea)??

    Regards,
