It's been interesting! Now looks like the problem started in Ohio, and not
near Niagara.

Well, after being an island of "no power" during the ice storm last winter
for over 4 days (power was on directly north & south of us), we got our
turn!! Our area that was out last winter was one of the only areas anywhere
near Detroit that did not lose power. We also have the only functioning gas
stations, stores, and restaurants, so Lake Orion was hoppin' last night!!

Jim Filozof came in from NY with his Roush Mustang for the Roush Owner
gathering and the Dream Cruise. We planned on meeting yesterday for food &
to head over to Woodward. Me met in the middle (about 30 miles south of me)
between my place and where he's staying. He was low on gas, so we drove &
drove for near 30 miles, and ended up getting gas a mile from my house
(first place open). Also hit the local Mexican restaurant, and were joined
by Ryan Dudek & Tara, who have no power at their house. At least Jim had a
full tank. He was headed to Waterford Hills to run the road course with the
Roush folks today. It may have happened, as power was coming on in that
area. 

Dream Cruise is still "ON" for tomorrow. Will be interesting if the traffic
lights aren't working yet!!

Just heard on the news how there are 3 power "grids" in the US:  the Eastern
grid, the Western grid, and the Texas grid!  Grrrr...Us Californians don't
think too highly of Texas nowadays!  Kinda funny how they have their very
own power grid.
