[Shotimes] MAF connector question

Yeah, that being the case......
I guess I don't think "young" enough....it's one of those pieces that
impresses your friends!!!
But, to do it again, I still wouldn't do it first.
Oft-told, boring story. I had 1/2 the BOS put in. Y-pipe, catback, UDPs.
Drove the car a month or so. Much better torque through the rpm range, and
30-31 mpg at 80 mph on the highway.
Got the 80mm/LPM/Can. Installed them on a nice, cool night. Went out and
drove. WTF???? "Maybe" an increase over 6K.....nothing that I could feel
below that otherwise.
Later dyno run proved the upper-end HP with a 207 at-the-wheels run at Kenny
Brown's (when Don McKinnon turned his 195 HP on his stock '95)

Ron,
In the past the only options were the Pro-M 77mm for around $400 or the Ford
80mm LPM combo, for about the same total price (I suppose the 73mm C&L was
out there too). expensive, and the results were questionable, at least with
the LPM deal (the PRO-M 77mm was and still is worth some HP).
But these days you can get the PRO-M 75mm MAF for about $170, throw it on
there, and are guaranteed 5 or more HP from the dyno results I've seen.
That's a better bang for the buck than either a Y-pipe or UDPs.
