Increasing the CC size drops compression and works against you even more,
unless you have other components that can make use of it.

Run 20 #s of boost on a supercharger or turbo and that stuff can be used. Do
it on a n/a motor and don't race Geo Prizms for pink slips!!

So the reason the increased valve size does not help is because the
combustion chamber size is not increased?  :)
