[Shotimes] Help! Rear Brakes

I'm working on the rear disc brakes of the AWA's '99 Mercury Sable wagon and 
I can't figure out how the heck to get the pistons back in to the calipers.

I have the tool from AutoZone that supposedly rotates the piston back into 
it's bore, but the piston doesn't want to budge.

Should I need to take the parking brake calbe off to work this thing back in 
it's bore?

I assume also the piston drives into the bore clockwise as I look down at 
the face of the piston...
