[Shotimes] Sputtering problem

It is high up on the firewall, approximately directly in line behind where 
the throttle body is.  It's a little black box, a little smaller than a 
cigarette pack, with wires going into the end of it and what looks like a 
place to plug on a hose but no hose is plugged on.
