[Shotimes] OT - How do you post pics on Shoforum.com

Boy, "another" Forum?? With SHOs Unlimited, the Delphi SHO Forum, SHO Forum,
and now another (and I'm probably forgetting one or two!!).

Don't speak too soon about the kiddies......they will find this one, and it
will become SHO Forum 2 ("The Sequel"). Forums just seem to attract a
younger crowd. They can load up the bandwidth with the UBB crap and the
other cutesy garbage in their posts.

It's happened with the other lists, and almost happened here on SHOtimes a
few years ago, but the old curmudgeons didn't bail out, so we don't have
diaper-changing chores!!

Still, the bottom line for me and others is that a mail listserv is MUCH
preferable, and the kiddies.....who have time to waste online......seem to
like Forum/BB setups better.

Once I went to SHOtimes after being on the old Prodigy BBs for years, I
thought it was wonderful! Rennlist, where the 911 list is, has both a Forum
and a listserv, and it seems the older, more experienced folks are on the
listserv.

A Forum is probably fine for people who love spending hours online daily,
but it doesn't seem to work when your schedule doesn't accommodate that. I
would rather blow through 500-1,000 emails after being off for a week than
spend the time wading through Forum topics. There is stuff I have responded
to on the SHO Forum, and I didn't go back for a week or more. Turns out
people were asking me questions online, and I forgot that I even responded
to a topic, as after a week it is so far down the list as to be off my radar
screen.

Not on SHOForum, but at www.superhighoutput.com there is a new forum and you
can upload your personal SHO pics to that server.  It seems this forum is
better in content than SHOforum.com (similar content to SHOtimes mail list),
and SHOforum.com will remain what it is good at - a playland for the
kiddies.

I still prefer reading text only e-mails in my inbox (yea shotimes!) - I
guess I'm old fashioned!
